Nick Parker
Nick has been in strategic planning since his early days at Dixons Stores Group through long term executive positions at Nintendo, Sony and Atari and finally now as the foremost strategic consultant within the video games and digital media industries.
He started in the games industry in 1992 at Nintendo as one of the few "suits" defining planning tools and forecasting methodologies from his experience of tried and tested techniques.
As an entrepreneur, he started GameVision

He has hands on internet business development as he was recruited by Atari in 2000 to set up a sister company for online casual gamers called Gamenation which he did from scratch by hiring the team and taking offices in London and which now runs out of San Francisco. This followed six years at Sony Computer Entertainment Europe where Nick was VP Strategic Planning Europe overseeing the launches of PlayStation and PlayStation 2 as well as wearing the Head of Internet hat, creating and running the team which built the first playstation.com.
Over the years Nick has built up a unique library of market information and sixth sense understanding which he now applies to client engagements. He has been an associate analyst at IHS Screen Digest since 2003. He is a regular speaker on the conference circuit and co-authored a book about the games industry called
Games Wars which was published in 1995.
Marc de Gentile-Williams
Marc's involvement in the electronic games industry goes back to his teenage years in the early eighties when he earned an income writing games for the ZX81 and the ZX Spectrum.
After gaining a university degree in Mathematics in 1990, Marc commenced his professional career in Strategy Consulting initially for Arkwright Ltd, a Bain spin off and subsequently for the corporate finance department of Arthur D Little. where he focused on the TMT sector, specifically Telecoms, Television and Internet.
Marc's area of expertise is financial forecasting and company valuation and he has worked on a number of successful transactions.
With Parker Consulting, Marc has worked on a number of games industry projects for clients including Vodafone, HMV, Screen Digest, CCP, Atari as well as several start-ups.
